Healthy nutella bars

Today I want to share with you my recipe for these healthy bars that taste just like nutella. Are so delicious, chewy and the perfect treat. 

  • 1 cup of oat flour
  • 3-5 medjool dates
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder (no sugar added)
  • Sweetener: coconut sugar, maple sirup, agave...
  • Hazelnut butter
  • Dark chocolate to melt 
  • Hazelnuts
  • 3-4 tbsp of water
  • For the base: in a food processor, add the dates with the oat flour, the cacao powder and the water. Blend it all well and then add the sweetener to taste.
  • Spread the mixture on a flat surface and give it a square shape. On top spread a layer of hazelnut butter. Put it in the fridge. 
  • Melt the chocolate. 
  • When the chocolate is ready take the bar from the fridge and cut it into rectangles or squares... shape and size is up to you.
  • Cover the bars with the chocolate and spread some chopped hazelnuts on top.
  • Keep it in the fridge. 
Hope you like them. Keep in mind that even though are healthy, are a calorie bomb.
